Grab your kilts and join us as we explore Scotland in
August, 2001. We're very excited about this unique custom tour that
takes in both the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the Braemar Highland Games,
one of the most prestigious competitions in Scotland for over 900 years.

ARRIVAL IN GLASGOW, SCOTLAND
Upon arrival you will clear customs and immigration where you will
be met by your driver/guide and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy
a welcome drink with your tour guide before tonights welcome dinner..

GLASGOW TO EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND
Travel on to Edinburgh this morning, Prince of Cities.. The
first stop is at at the Royal Burgh of Stirling, which stands proud and
conspicuous, rising above the River Forth, with its famous Stirling
Castle located higher still on a precipitous volcanic plug. Spend
some time here in this quaint and elegant town before continuing on to
Edinburgh.
There is ample time to rest before continuing on to an evening's enterainment
of Scottish bagpipes and fanfare at the infamous
Military Tattoo

EDINBURGH AT LEISURE
Depart on a city tour of Edinburgh. Drive the Royal Mile and visit
Edinburgh
Castle and Holyrood Palace.. Spend the remainder of the

EDINBURGH TO ISLE OF SKYE
Leave Edinburgh and drive along the shores of Loch Lomond moving further
north towards the highlands of Scotland. Take a leisurely ferry crossing
from Mallaig to Armadale, to the Isle of Skye this morning, the
largest of the Hebrides and steeped in myth and legend, as well as being
outstandingly beautiful. Visit the Clan Mac Donald Center for an
insight into 13 centuries of Clan history. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this
evening.

ISLE OF SKYE TO INVERNESS
Continue on to Inverness, the Highland capital via a visit to Loch
Ness, famous by the legends of the prehistoric monster. Continue
on to the beautiful Inverewe Gardens and spend some time at leisure
here. Dine at the hotel in Invereness this evening.

INVERNESS/SCOTTISH HIGHLAND EXCURSION
Drive south through the beautiful Scottish highlands to visit the Culloden
Battlefields. Continue along the Scottish coastline to the Tomatin
Whiskey distillery and taste some infamous Scotch Whiskey. The
remainder of the afternoon is at leisure in Inverness.

Travel along the Scottish coastline to Aberdeen today, visiting Brodie
Castle, with its extensive grounds, fine sixteenth century furniture

at leisure after a brief orientation drive of the city.
